In 1992, STAP donated two tricycles from a photo shoot to an agency serving at-risk families. Since then, we have marked the holiday season by assembling and donating tricycles in our clients’ names to charities in the communities we serve.

“With Trikenight, the whole idea is to brighten the holiday season for disadvantaged families by donating trikes to local charities,” said Julie Becker, STAP account manager. “Since those charities are in Grand Rapids and Richland, we thought it would be a good idea to celebrate at both offices.”

With help from clients, relatives, and friends, agency staffers assembled nearly 200 bright red trikes, pushing our seventeen-year grand total over the 3,500 mark. Trikes were donated to two Grand Rapids organizations: D.A. Blodgett for Children and Catholic Social Services and to two Kalazmazoo organizations: Family & Children Services and Elizabeth Upjohn Community Healing Center.
